I just heard the most ridiculous rumour! Dimitri came to deliver my present -- which was lovely, by the way, it's a silk shawl with little pearly buttons all up the edges and it complements my complexion perfectly -- and he had just gotten back from the theater, where he heard someone telling Elyiethe that Prince Julian and Lady Fayre were planning the most scandalous sudden elopement, which of course I thought couldn't be true except when Dimitri asked if the entire troupe was invited, they both whirled right around and Elyiethe allegedly turned such a shade of crimson that Dimitri was afraid she'd haul him out by his ear on the spot!
